Patricia Yawn is a bilingual, Mexican-American, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA). She has a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family, and Individual Counseling.

Patricia’s therapeutic approach is anchored in her belief that every individual possesses intrinsic value, shaping her warm, peaceful, and genuine presence in the therapy room. Recognizing the uniqueness of each person’s narrative, she strives to foster a safe environment where individuals feel empowered to explore the elements that have caused distress in their lives. Patricia is convinced that effectively processing and addressing difficult emotions, thoughts, and behaviors can lead to a more enriching and fulfilling life for individuals.

Patricia customizes therapy to suit individual needs, employing an eclectic therapy style. Some of the treatment modalities she uses include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Family Systems Theories, and Play Therapy. Patricia is also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator, which can be a helpful tool for those seeking pre-marital counseling.

Patricia has a passion for working with children, families, and Spanish-speakers. She also finds great fulfillment in working with teens and adults. Her experience includes depression, anxiety, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, behavioral issues, suicidal ideation, parenting, relational issues, and identity crisis.
